FIBROBLAST SKIN TIGHTENING

Plaxel is true plasma technology. You will see that the dots are white instead of red immediately after treatment, because the plasma actually enters the epidermis. It does not burn the surface of the skin. There is no smell of burning skin and no bleeding. We have a great video on ourwebsite that shows you how the treatment looks very different. We also have a fine line-erasing ball tip, and a cold plasma tip used to infuse products more deeply into the skin. No one else has this cold plasma technology yet.

We are working on FDA Registration but are in the very early stages of that process. NO plasma pens on the market are FDA approved at this time.

The healing process depends on your health and skin health, but most people’s skin irritation subsides in 5-10 days. Your technician will determine the perfect preparation and after care regimen for your need

Plasma pen skin tightening or fibroblasting is the latest non-surgical cosmetic procedure to help you with your wrinkles, loss of collagen, and sagging skin.  Aging causes your skin to thin, produce less collagen and lose elasticity.  These factors produce sagging and wrinkling of the skin especially around the eyes and mouth.

Plasma pen skin tightening, also known as fibroblasting, fibroblast skin treatment, or soft surgery, is a non-surgical procedure or skin tightening treatment that targets a wide variety of skin conditions including loss of elasticity, sagging and wrinkles that have been traditionally treated with dermal fillers or plastic surgery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Fibroblast Plasma Pen is mildly to moderately uncomfortable.  Everyone’s pain level is different and some areas of the body are more sensitive than others.  Numbing cream is helpful in reducing the discomfort during treatment.

The Fibroblast Plasma Pen is comparatively safe, considering the more invasive plastic surgery procedures. No procedure is without risks and it’s important to understand there are risks to fibroblasting or a plasma pen treatment. The risks include:

  • Swelling and bruising
  • Scabbing and crusting
  • Skin discoloration
  • Scarring

The normal downtime is an average of:

  • 5 to 8 days on the face and neck areas.
  • 10 to 14 days on the body, depending on the area being treated and the intensity of the treatment.
  • Swelling usually begins the day following your treatment, and peaks around day 3.
  • After day 3, swelling subsides and tiny scabs form.
  • Scabs normally begin to fall off around day 6 and 7 (for face and neck).
  • Healing time and results may be negatively compromised by not following the recommended after care protocol especially no smoking and no picking/scrubbing.

Light or white skin types are suited for Fibroblast Plasma Pen treatment. Darker skin tones (African American, African, Latin, Native American, Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian ancestry and people of mixed ethnicities) are not good candidates for the Fibroblast Plasma Pen.

We are committed to safe and effective treatments for all. When in doubt, we won’t risk it! We do not provide Fibroblast Plasma Pen treatments on Fitzpatrick skin types 4-6:
